Supportive therapy for the ones who hold everything together.

At HELD Therapy, we offer supportive connected care for people navigating the complexities of mental health in a society that often demands more than we have to give. We believe that no one should have to navigate anxiety, maternal mental health challenges, life transitions, or interpersonal trauma alone. We are committed to inclusive, relational care that honors both resilience and vulnerability, providing thoughtful therapy that helps emotional holders find real support in a complex world.

Hi, I’m Jaclyn!

I’m a licensed professional counselor, mom of two, avid reader and amateur cake baker.

I specialize in working with high-achieving and over-functioning adults stuck in a cycle of endless productivity, overwhelm, and mental noise. I support clients with trauma recovery, life transitions, couples and motherhood.

Therapy with me isn’t just about coping skills, it’s about:

  • Untangling over-responsibility

  • Understanding your attachment patterns

  • Softening perfectionism

  • Building nervous system regulation

  • Learning to receive support

  • Creating boundaries without guilt

Are You the Emotional Holder?

You might be if:

  • You’re always the calm one in conflict.

  • People confide in you constantly.

  • You manage everyone’s feelings often before your own.

  • You’re highly competent, but internally anxious.

  • You rarely fall apart, but often feel overwhelmed.

  • Rest feels unfamiliar.

  • You feel responsible for keeping relationships steady.

Emotional holders often experience:

  • High-functioning anxiety

  • Quiet resentment

  • Overthinking and rumination

  • Difficulty asking for help

  • Burnout that feels confusing (“But I’m handling everything…”)

  • Disconnection from their own needs

You don’t have to be everything to be enough.
